The Wesley Foundation Invites Community to ‘Share a Step’ During Virtual Fitness Fundraiser | Local News
SARATOGA SPRINGS, NY – The Wesley Foundation, the philanthropic arm of The Wesley Community – a 37-acre senior citizen campus with over 700 residents in Saratoga Springs – invites residents of the Capital Region to participate in its fundraiser virtual “Share A Step” from May 21 to May 27.
The Week-long Fitness Initiative provides participants with the opportunity to raise funds for the Wesley community while working towards a fitness-focused goal, such as running or walking a mile a day or taking a bike ride. 30 miles.
Members track their workouts, share their progress on social media, and encourage friends and family to support their efforts through a donation. Teams and individuals are invited to participate and prizes are awarded for goals achieved during the event.
All donations generated through “Share A Step” will support Phase 2 of the Springs Building renovations at the Wesley Health Care Center. The project will create a contemporary, efficient and family-friendly environment on the second, third and fourth floors of the building. The first phase of the project ended in 2016.
