The Blairsville/Derry-area-based Diamond Dolls Twirling Team, LLC announces registration for their 2023 season. This will be their 25th year. Registration will take place on Tuesday, November 15 and Thursday, November 17 at the Blairsville Armory & Wellness Center (119 N. Walnut St., Blairsville). Those interested in registering can stop by anytime between 5:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. on both evenings.

Children must accompany parents at registration. Entry fee ($25) and cost of stick ($25) are due upon registration. Tuition and other fees will be due later (more details will be given at registration or by calling the number or visiting the website). The team is open to girls ages 4-17, from any school district, with or without stick twirling experience. Recreational classes will begin January 5 and are assigned based on age and skill level, including beginners (competitive teams are audition/assessment only). The 2023 Diamond Dolls recreational teams will practice Thursday evenings from January through July at the Blairsville Armory & Wellness Center. They march in local parades and entertain at church and community festivals throughout the summer months. They are a familiar sight at the Derry Memorial Day and Railroad Days parades, the Blairsville Knotweed & Christmas parades, the Latrobe Fourth of July parade and the Indiana It’s a Wonderful Life parade.

There will also be an option to participate in classes only, from January to May, for anyone looking for twirling classes without the option of public appearances: perfect preparation for school cheerleader trials, introduction to twirling or families busy (no performances or summer training).

For more information, see their website at More information can also be obtained by contacting Kimberly Hoag at 724-459-8628.

Have a good week-end!
