Mom reveals how her son forged his signature on his homework journal
WHEN it comes to getting the kids ready for school, there are a lot that get overlooked, like grabbing packed lunches to the side or grabbing that freshly washed PE kit when you walk out the door.
For a mom, she forgot to sign her son’s homework journal – a weekly chore on the school’s list – and desperate not to get into trouble, he decided to take matters into his own hands.
While posting to the Family Lowdown Tips & Ideas Facebook group, the mom was amused when her son told her he had no choice but to forge his signature.
The only problem was that his attempt to do so wasn’t that subtle and she was convinced he was going to be stopped by his teacher.
Sharing a photo of her son’s efforts, the mom joked, “When your son said mom, I had to forge your signature because you didn’t sign my homework journal!”
“I guess they may suspect it wasn’t really me who signed it.”
Instead of creatively signing his name on the dotted line, the boy had just written “mom”.
Her post left hundreds of parents very amused as they commented on the post online.
“Okay try young man! 10/10 for the effort,” said an amused mom.
Another wrote: “I laughed so much about it !!!! Brilliant !!!!”
A third posted: “‘Mum’ this is awesome, you gotta keep this forever.”
Others might understand, as they revealed that their devious children had done the exact same thing before.
“Literally my daughter’s diary last week when I looked at it,” one mom commented.
Another joked: “My daughter was asked if she signed her own reading journal when it was actually me.”
