This year marks the first full year of Five Good Things, a weekly collection of charities made by the trucking industry and shared with us at Fleet owner. The need for brightness began at the start of the COVID-19 pandemic, but the good work and positive support from the trucking community continues and has been the lifeblood of FGT.

This blog has continued to highlight bringing the trucking industry together for the greater good – a greater good for the community, its people, and even the world. This week is no different as the industry pulled together its resources and made a global impact to help India, which has been hit particularly hard by COVID-19. When I started this blog, I was overwhelmed with the support of the trucking community during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic, when people were out of work or struggling with loss and illness. Last year I started this blog to shine a light on the good things happening in the world to break through the darkness that filled our screens. Today is no exception.
